In this training session Dr Sue Dyson will be presenting new research into behaviour during tacking up and mounting and comparing this to the owner’s perceptions. The relationship between abnormal behaviour and possible inciting factors: saddle fit to the horse (in general and specific aspects of saddle fit), saddle fit to the rider, movement of the saddle during ridden exercise, rider balance, presence of lameness was also investigated.
